CD LAUNCH SUCCESS AND HOW TO PURCHASE
Many of you joined us last month for the Wee Big Band's new "Blue Reverie" CD release at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your wonderful support and for helping to make this such an exceptionally well-attended event.
By now those of you who pre-ordered the CD will have received your copies, however if anyone would like to place a new or additional order, please note the recording continues to be available from John Norris at Sackville Recordings and from Anne Page, or it can be purchased directly at L'Atelier Gregorian.
NATIONAL JAZZ AWARD NOMINATION
We are also very proud to announce that in timely fashion with this release and coincidental with its 30th year of celebrating the music the Wee Big Band has been nominated for Big Band of the Year in the 2008 National Jazz Awards.
